Description
The addition of the MaxTrax LITEs to the MaxTrax family of recovery boards has been a gift to those who run Pak Rax on their rig! These traction boards offer the same reliability and strength you can expect from MaxTrax while delivering 48% lighter at 3.9 lbs (about half of the MKII's), smaller footprint which is super beneficial to mounting, and an affordable price! All these aspects have been great to implement into the TrailRax Modular Roof Rack and Pak Rax designs!
We took the awesome strength of our Universal MaxTrax Plate and applied it to fit the MaxTrax LITE plate with similar goals. In comes the Universal MaxTrax LITE Plate which carries the same mounting universitility as our Universal MaxTrax Plate but made it lighter, just as strong, and more affordable just like the MaxTrax LITEs! Made of 5052 Aluminum 1/8th inch thick plate with additional bends for strength and a nice satin powder coat finish, this MaxTrax Lite plate can be mounted just about anywhere in our TrailRax ecosystem of products. You can mount it on your TRMR Rack latitude or longitude or move it to your Pak Rax and if you want to get really creative, you can mount it on our 90 degree brackets. There are so many mounting options for this plate that it has earned the universal name! This plate is also capable of being mounted on other similar 80/20 based racks and much more.
With this new size of plate, this MaxTrax Lite plate and Lite Traction board mount works perfect for 4 door model SUVs as most rear windows are too small for standard MKiis or Xtreme plates which in turn requires you to slide the mkiis and Xtreme plates to hang off the rear, some may not like the look of that. This is where the Lites come in nicely, they fit perfectly on Bronco 4 Door models and Jeep wrangler 4 door models. For 2 doors, we highly recommend taking advantage of the whole space you are given and get the MKII's or Xtremes for your build.

Is everything really on sale?
Almost everything. Over 1,150 products across our top overlanding brands are marked down as we clear out our Cloverdale showroom, some by up to 60%. A few brands are held at regular price due to manufacturer pricing agreements, but the vast majority of our in-stock inventory is discounted. Do discount codes or price matching still work?
Clearance prices are already our lowest, so discount codes, promotions, and price matching do not apply to sale items. Any valid discount codes may still be used on regular-priced items at checkout.
Are these items new or used?
Most items in this clearance are brand new and in-stock. As the sale continues we may also list a limited number of open-box or built showroom display units, priced accordingly. The condition of every item is clearly marked on its product page, so you always know exactly what you're getting.
Do clearance items come with a warranty?
New items carry the full original manufacturer warranty, valid with your proof of purchase. As a retailer, we help facilitate claims, but the warranty is always held directly with the manufacturer, so our location closing does not affect it. Any showroom display or demo units are sold as-is at a reduced price, with their condition clearly marked on the product page, and these do not carry a manufacturer warranty. Keep your receipt or order confirmation as your proof of purchase.
What's the return policy on sale items?
Regular-priced items follow our standard 60-day return policy. Clearance and sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged, so please check fitment and product details before ordering. Final sale covers change-of-mind returns. If an item arrives defective, it is covered by its manufacturer warranty, as above. If you're unsure whether something fits your vehicle, email us at info@modularacks.com before you buy and we'll confirm.
When will my order ship?
Most in-stock orders are processed and handed to the carrier quickly, usually within 1 business day and no later than 1 to 3 business days during the sale. You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your order is on its way. Delivery time after that depends on your location and the shipping method you choose. We ship across Canada. Can I pick up my order or visit the showroom?
Yes. Our Cloverdale showroom is open Monday to Wednesday, 10am to 5pm, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday. Order pickups are welcome anytime during showroom hours, and appointments can be booked by emailing info@modularacks.com. Everything is also available online 24/7 at modularacks.ca.
Will sold-out items be restocked?
No. This is a clearance of our in-stock inventory, so once an item sells out it's gone for good. If something you want is still listed, that's your window to grab it.
Can I still use a gift card or store credit?
Yes. Gift cards and store credit remain valid and can be used online at modularacks.ca. If you're holding a gift card or store credit and have any questions, email us at info@modularacks.com.
Why are you closing?
We're closing our Cloverdale physical location and clearing out our showroom inventory. Our online store at modularacks.ca remains open, so you can still shop our gear, get support, and rely on your manufacturer warranties. This sale is your chance to grab our in-stock inventory at clearance prices before it's gone.
Are my existing orders and pre-orders still valid?
Absolutely. All existing orders, pre-orders, and deposits are being honoured in full and will be fulfilled as normal. Your proof of purchase and manufacturer warranty remain valid. If you have any questions about an existing order, email us at info@modularacks.com.
Can I get a copy of a past receipt or proof of purchase?
Yes. If you bought from us in the past and need a copy of your receipt or proof of purchase, email us at info@modularacks.com and we'll send it your way. It's worth keeping on file, since your manufacturer warranty stays valid with it.
Do you still offer installation?
Installation is available on a limited basis while our team is on-site during the sale. If you'd like your gear installed, email us at info@modularacks.com to check availability and book before the sale ends.
